Case study
fastserver.hr: from the third page of Google to the first.
fastserver.hr is a Croatian provider of web hosting, VPS and dedicated servers. Until 19 September 2026 we worked on its link building, technical optimisation and new content, without changing the design. Between summer 2025 and autumn 2026, its average Google position moved from the third page of results to the first. In August to October 2026 it had 126% more clicks and 104% more impressions than in the same months of 2025.

Client and goal
A smaller provider in a crowded market.
Hosting searches are dominated by large providers and comparison sites. A smaller provider needs other websites to vouch for it before Google ranks its service pages and guides near the top.
What we did
Links, technical work and content.
01
Link building
Dozens of links from Croatian websites on technology, business and everyday topics, in two waves: autumn 2024 and winter to spring 2026. Almost all are followed (dofollow) and they are checked regularly.
02
Targets and anchors
Most links lead to the homepage and the web hosting page, the rest to the server pages and guides, with varied link text instead of one repeated keyword.
03
Technical optimisation and new content
Technical checks and fixes on the existing website and new texts that support the hosting and server pages. The design stayed as it was.
Results
From page three to page one.
- From the third page to the first: the average position moved from the third page of Google results to the first.
- +126% clicks in August to October 2026 compared with the same months of 2025.
- +104% impressions in the same period.
- Guides such as how to find out whose IP address it is and what HTTPS is are among the first results.
Search results also depend on season, competition and Google updates, so we compare the same months of both years.
Services used: link building and SEO.
